En un episodio de esta temporada de Southpark encontramos a los habitantes de la serie animada en un ataque de histeria porque las conexiones a internet no funcionan.
TipoNº1: ¡Tiene que haber alguna forma de averiguar qué está pasando!
Tipo Nº 2: ¿No lo entienden? ¡No tenemos internet para averiguar por qué no hay internet!
Tipo Nº 3: ¿Pero qué usábamos para enterarnos de las cosas antes de internet?
Todos: ¡La televisión!
Presentador de noticiero: Una vez más reciban nuestras disculpas pero no tenemos ninguna noticia para dar. Todo indica que no tenemos internet en las oficinas. Nos complacerá mantenerlos informados acerca de los últimos acontecimientos ni bien se restablezca la conexión a internet.
Tiempo después, Randy decide abandonar la ciudad. Los vecinos le preguntan por sus planes.
Vecinos: Randy, ¿adónde piensas ir?
Randy: Nos vamos hacia el oeste. Me llegaron rumores de que podría haber allí algo de internet. Así que rumbeamos a California.
Vecino: ¿Pero saben si en California hay internet?
Randy: ¡Lo que está claro es que acá no hay! Es hora de enfrentar la realidad. Acá internet se secó.
Vecino: Pero puede volver.
Randy: Sí, puede volver como puede no volver. ¡Mientras tanto, tengo una familia que necesita internet, y la necesita ya!

Ah, les cuento algo: anoche tuve una pesadilla horrible en serio. Estábamos Karina Olga y yo sentenciados a la silla eléctrica. Viene el cura, que era Tinelli ahora que recuerdo bien, y le pregunta cuál es su ultima voluntad. Y Karinita le responde: “Marcelo, ¿podría cantar de nuevo la canción?” “Sí”, le dice Tinelli. Entonces me mira a mí y me pregunta: “Pettinato, ¿y vos? ¿Cuál es tu ultima voluntad”. Miro fijo su tapado de piel y le digo: “¿No me podrían matar primero a mí?”.
