Esta noticia se publicó hoy en algunos medios, pero quizás quedó perdida entre la vorágine de temas policiales como el de Rosana o el accidente y procesamiento de Gaby Alvarez.
Resulta que en México se encontraron negativos perdidos de Robert Capa sobre la guerra civil española. Capa inmortalizó este triste período de la historia de la Madre Patria con su famosa fotografía “Muerte de un Miliciano”.
Esta imagen, para muchos el mayor ícono del fotoperiodismo, estuvo en tela de juicio ya que en algún momento se especuló de que podría ser un montaje. Es por eso que es tan interesante el hallazgo de los 127 rollos perdidos del fotógrafo. Allí podría estar el negativo que eche por tierra definitivamente esta suposición.
Según informa The New York Times el estado de conservación de este baluarte fotográfico es inmejorable, con lo cuál tendremos más noticias en el corto plazo.
Otra curiosidad es que el mismo Capa pensaba que ese material estaba perdido. Supuso que se había extraviado durante la invasión de los nazis a París. Acá en esta nota de Clarín está contado el periplo de la caja de los negativos.
